Rose Cottage, Groton

Construction of a new family home taking the appearance of a rural Suffolk cottage with a glazed link to an outbuilding to provide for additional accommodation. The project combines traditional charm with modern design. The cottage element embraces traditional architectural features, such as pitched roofs and soft red brickwork and smooth painted lime render, whilst the glazed link creates a contemporary connection to the outbuilding. This transparent feature floods the interior with natural light and provides a seamless visual transition between the two structures. The design balances heritage aesthetics with modern functionality, creating a harmonious and unique living environment.
